Returns could cost a shop money if they specifically ordered an item. If it was just laying in the shop anyway then perhaps yes otherwise they have no guarantee it won't sell at a loss.It's called service. They shouldn't hassle about a return.

With a special order a customer usually wants a specific item they don't normally stock. THAT's the value add. It's assumed the customer checked compatibility before ordering.Well, they're not selling veggies.
On a special order they should help the consumer and check that the correct thing is being ordered, otherwise where is the value add.

Thanks I might try that. btw clearing CMOS won't change anything will it? I won't have to change some settings to bring thing back to normal?
