Good Day Forum members,

I need some assistance in the advice of a Pc build up that I have to do.

A friend of mine is in the Forex market and needs a 4 seperate display.

My predicament comes in cost factors of 2 ways

1- do I buy an expensive graphics card to host this 4 display

2- do I get a board that supports 2 graphic card slots and getting two of the same graphic cards or so (not sure of the pros and cons of this method)

Please can one advice me I would appreciate the best reliable method to take.

Thank you.

You can get a Sapphire 5770 Flex. You need a VGA monitor, a DVI and two with display port. If you don't have display port monitors you need ACTIVE display port to HDMI adapters.

You should be-able to get the 5870 eyefinity 6 for a reasonable price I'm sure or two cheaper cards that support multi-displays
5770 and gtx550 would be good bets.. not sure if there is anything cheaper that offers those features, must do some research.

Seeing he's probably not gonna game on it have a look at some http://www.matrox.com/graphics/en/ products as this is kind of their target market.

They have a single card that can drive 8 monitors at 2560 x 1600 for example.

Axiz is the local distributor if I'm not mistaken.

Thank you guys for the options it is much appreciated... I will reply soon to the method I have chosen.

Thanks again :-) ...

You can use a dvi to dual vga splitters as well to fit the 4th screen. You can do that with any cheap card. If you want all screens to show the same picture drag across all the screens then Eyefinity is your friend or you can get the the ZOTAC GeForce GTX 460 3DP. It got three DisplayPort and one dual-link DVI connectors that are capable of driving up to four independent displays simultaneously with a combined resolution up to 6400 x 1200.
