I do not use pcs at all. Mac myself. One of my clients needs a general purpose office windozer. You know, all the usuals: Office, Windows, Email and Internet. Must have network and must have wireless. Will one of the many made-to-order things at Matrix do the job? Will the specs suffice? It is not meant to be a gaming rig or anything hectic like that...

Yeah. That'll work. Just make sure it has a 7200rpm hdd, 2gig ram and a core processor (or equivalent).

I'd prefer building it myself (don't like the balancing on the precuilds), but prebuilt is almost as good.

Also have a look at these http://pcint.co.za/pcs.php bought my gear from them & seems alright.

Intel Celeron E3200 at ±R450 dual core is a good processor for those needs. Coupled with a G41 motherboard at ±R600, its onboard graphics supports up to full HD (1920x1080 resolution). Go for 2GB RAM and a 7200RPM HDD as above. A quality bang for buck case and PSU combo would be a Cooler Master Elite chassis with bundled 350watt CM PSU which retails at ±R450.
