Hi guys.
I need a new PC case.

I'm getting high-end components, and already have the following:
i7 860
Gigabyte P55-UD6
Corsair TX750w
Getting: ATi 58x0
Lots of HDDs

Now I'm considering three cases ATM:
Coolermaster Storm Sniper
Antec P193
Coolermaster CM690

I don't have a use for any side-windows or any other crap, just need a case that looks good, keeps my pc relatively dust free, and has OK air-flow.

Now at the moment I'm actually torn between the Sniper and P193.
But the CM690 is so cheap!

My budget allow for a nice, expensive case though, so help me decide!
Thanks.

I'm also looking for a case but if budget was not an issue the sniper looks awesome.

I just got a Lian Li case.. the quality is excellent.

Temps of mobo and cpu dropped about 10c (from having a AeroCool Zero Degree) and the case is very quiet.

They are expensive, but I'll say well worth it.

Umm... I would consider getting Ram first.

I'd probably go for the sniper though.

We have some i7 920 PCs here at work with CM690 cases, and they are great.

I see there is a CM690 II Advanced which looks really good.

Which one did you buy? i cannot believe temps dropped 10c when the aerocool has a nice 20cm side fan and lian li does not. Which lian li did you buy to drop temps by 10c?

Lol.. I took that ferris wheel off my Aerocool case long ago, was just too noisy. The problem with the aerocool was that the psu is at the bottom, so my northbridge and GFX at the top got very hot. (no exhaust fans on the top).

I got the desktop version. http://www.sybaritic.co.za/store/product_info.php?cPath=50_52&products_id=20901

I also have an AeroCool Zero Dgree. I swopped the side-fan around, and it actually improved my temps a bit.. Weird that they never tested it that way..
But then again, I also fitted had 3x12cm fans to start out with, opposed to just the one you get with standard.

Is the sniper any good when it comes to filtering dust?
With all those big fans, it can't possibly keep dust to a minimum?

Also, isn't an Antec P18x or P19x better for noise reduction..?

Postman, quote me a price on a sniper plz? :)

I was very impressed with the 690 for the price.

I'm thinking of going for a cm690 ii but with all the fan holes isn't the pc louder, as in less insulated in terms of sound? This is without adding any extra fans beyond what it comes with.

I mean its got 9 fan spots. http://www.coolermaster.com/product.php?product_id=6638

That sata dock on the top is pretty cool though.

A few places have it listed.

The CM690 cases we have at work only have one intake (not sure on size) and one 140mm exhaust, and they are super quiet. The other fan options aren't fitted.

The sniper has filters on all of its intake fans, and creates a positive pressure inside the case stopping dust from entering in all the ventilation holes. So very little dust actually gets into it.
