PC Diagnostic Tool

Do any of you know of a good diagnostic tool that can tell you which component is faulty or possibly faulty. I've many times replaced a HDD when the MB was actually faulty and happened visa versa

There's no tool that will just tell you whats wrong... If there was the person that made it would make $$$ millions. Its really a case of testing the parts, or know what part is faulty when the PC is not working up to scratch. If its your pc thats not working, i would take it to your local PC store and have them take a look at it.

I used Ontrack Fix-It utilities years back. Not sure if its any good anymore. It had memory and hdd and mobo controller tests. Also had some stress tests for memory and hdd. When its done you can print out a report of everything. It also had registry repair and registry defrag etc.
