Hello,
So I think this problem has to do with my motherboard. I have an Asus P8B75-M LE motherboard. The motherboard is about 3 years old now. So this problem has been coming along for a while now.
Eventually when I turn on my pc the fans and LED's and everything starts up normally. But 5 seconds into the booting process, the computer just shuts itself down, and then starts up again on its own without displaying anything on the monitor. After some time of waiting (that can be anything from 1 minute to 45 minutes) the computer eventually boots up normally. When the computer is booted and I can work in Windows, the computer acts normal. No decrease in speed, no random shut downs or restarts etc. I have tried a list of things before writing this thread. You can see it below:
Things that I have tried:
-Other PSU
-Other graphics card
-Temps are normal
-I have got 2 RAM slots and also 2 RAM sticks. So I don't know, but it will be very unlikely if it is something to do with the RAM, because I have tested every RAM stick alone in every ram slot.
-Turning CPU visualization off
-Turning PCI Power On off
-Turn Wait for F1 Error off
-Unplugging every hard drive and graphics card etc.
Coming back to the last point, when I only have the Motherboard, PSU and CPU plugged in, the PC starts without doing the loop, but obviously won't boot because it requires the RAM plugged in. So when I add the RAM, the PC does the same loop thing all over again. Also, when the PC was turned off for a while, it easily boots up. For example if I turn off my computer before I go to sleep and the next morning I turn it on again, it basically turns on like any normal computer. But if I had to shut it down after that and try again, the loop starts again.
So coming to the conclusion, I definitely think that it is a hardware error that needs to be replaced. My money is placed on the Motherboard. I have tried almost everything I read online regarding this error (or at least I think). But any help would be welcome. Thank you.
