Pc Linux Os

One last question gonna split my 320 gb in here to run win/pc linux - now is it better to let linux run on ntfs partition or ext2 what are the diffs?

If this is a dual-boot machine you should probably resize the Windows partition first. Check if there's an ext3 option for Linux file system. I use ReiserFS but that's just me :D.
 
HAhah it just bombed out and closed install during 1st repartiton screwed up windows partition heheh - time to format and start again - gonna repartition in windows cause according to pslinux peoples that installer hangs sometimes doing that
