Pc magazines??

Rather watch Youtube videos...

In my honest opinion, way too many tech YouTubers have become shills. Influencing is possibly the biggest marketing model at this time. The influencers won't tell you, because 1) it is their income and 2) they can't disclose it legally. Regardless, viewers like their association with online personae, and people are effortlessly herded.

Hence my question for some authentic reviewers. If they exist..

Well, as I said people like association, if there is a person who speaks to your mind then the review will be authentic. Even reviewers, who are influencers, are influenced.

There are not a lot of mags anymore; most are online in any case. The only mags I still read are the shopper, photography and creative mags.

My recommendation to you is to find 2-3 reviewers, listen to their reviews, and then be objective about it. For the most part I watch Level1Techs because I like Wendell and the two Steve's (and Tim). I also watch debau8r. I am not a big fan of LTT. PCWorld, for an online mag, is still good.

It is all up to you, everyone relates with somebody.

likely better to head over to carbonite.co.za more pc focused there

although your question is odd.

Learn more about the hardware. BUT to what end?

Shills with shitty thumbnails as well. Least the shitty thumbnails make it easy to ignore the videos

On that note, clickbait produces more views, and that is statistically proven. Also, having your face (or your brand) on your thumbnail is just better for discovery.
