I remembered the private messages I sent before had the machine specs -

Athlon X2 240
4Gb DDR3 (2x 2Gb sticks)
Asus M4A785TD-M EVO
1x WDC WD5000AZRX-00L4HB0
Cooler Master PSU (can't remember the model and CPU-Z doesn't show it).

There are 2 spare RAM slots and the PCI and PCI-E slots are unused so has upgrade potential.

Case dimensions - 15cm Width x 46cm Depth x 37cm Height

You can either keep the existing memory in or flog it - 8Gb should be plenty for how you use the PC. I'll check if I have any memory lying around for you to try - it's possible.

Think this thread can be closed. Think i have a basic idea of what needs to be done to liven it up a bit. Thanks for all the advice guys, really much appreciate it.
