Hi there.
First my pc specs:
i7-4790k H100i
MSI z97 gaming 5
AMD r9 280x crossfire
16gb ADATA 2400mhz (running at 1600mhz 1.5v)
Corsair ax850 PSU
2x SSD 2x HDD
Sound Blaster z
So my pc is just switching off at random times with no errors regardless of load on the system. It's like some protection is taking effect. it's doing this like every 1-3 weeks+ but very strange. How would I go about testing it.
I did test with aida64 by stressing the memory, gpu, fpu, cpu, etc at the same time and checked voltages with hwinfo and everything looks just fine. So can anyone tell me how I would test this further? This looks like either a motherboard issue or psu issue. This all started a month ago. So far I only experiencing this issue when idle. I can play bf4, black ops 2, GTA 5, project cars, etc and no power issues.
Hope any of you can help me. Just tell me if you need more info please
