I am not sure if this is in the right section but does anyone know what PC process this (C:\Windows\System32>\\Wpofficescan\DOWNAD_MSPATCH\downad_wpofficescan.exe) is?
It runs on my laptop at start up and brings up the command prompt window with that and that is all that’s in it. I don't notice it every day but some days it seems to freeze the laptop and all other applications opening stop responding. If I leave it, it just does nothing so I force the computer to shut down and start-up again. It sometimes does it again but most often is fine but this process still runs.
Any information on shutting it down if I don't need it or what it is would appreciated. I have tried searching on the internet for it and nothing really comes up. I doubt it is a virus/Trojan/malware of any sort as I am running Norton’s 360 but then anything is possible. It coming from system32 might mean it’s a virus of sorts.
