Pc restarting

Its just because PC's are much more customisable...

Take embedded security Digital Video Recorders, much more limited compared to a PC based security DVR...

are you telling me that you have a heatsink with no thermal paste?

You forgot to say she should put in on very very thinly...

ok guys,

so I am blonde at times. At least I only took off the thermal paste AFTER it started overheating (my ma always told me if you wanna clean something, clean it good). Funny thing is I put the grease on when I built the pc, but it was so long ago, forgot about it.:o

Now good news.... R380 later and I have a new CPU Fan and Heatsink. Bought a case fan to be on the safe side and a whole tube of thermal grease. And the lucky (expensive) store .... CTT Computers, Clearwater Mall.

Woohoo, keep us updated. Make sure you don't use too much thermal paste.

What cooler and paste did you get?

PS, i know this is goin to sound doff but don't forget to plug the fan in.

I got :

Neon Cooler 775-Pro (ED521-MF)
Thermaltake 80x80x25 highest performance dc fan
Powerful Thermal Compound. (only type they had)

now, to sound like a real chick - the coolest is the CPU Fan has BLUE LED lights, yes BLUE:p

CPU Now running at 54C (after playing GTR)
Motherboard running at 33C

Thanx for all the help and sarcasm guys.
