Hi, I'm looking for some cheap reliable pc speakers that are an alternative to using headsets. I'm not looking for HiFi quality/surround sound whatever(budget is too tight right now). I just want speakers that work, and have a decent sound quality around maybe +-R500.

They look decent enough. I'll just go through the reviews and see which one is less likely to stop working after a month.
I've got 3 sets of various ones and never had an issue.

Micro lab must be the best budget speakers I’ve seen. They play above budget standards... well at least to me.

I’ve also been through a few. Always nephews or brother in law or someone taking them from me lol. I don’t mind though as they’re cheap enough to replace... actually also reminds me that I need to buy another set for the new pc

I’ve had m108bt and m106 in all ranges. Their sound is pretty much the same and have a different look between the 108 and 106 ranges.

I’ve just been on take a lot and ordered the m300 at R528. My reason for going this route is that it should be more powerful and play much louder.

advice is also to get something with controls on the front as the remote might not be easy to replace should you lose or break it. Controls on the front should make it more comfortable in the event a remote gets misplaced

I'll look up reviews online and make my decision. Thanks.
