PC to Xbox Media Center Help Please

Ok for a year I have been watching 1080p MKV files trhough media center from my pc to my Xbox and a week ago It just stopped working I tried everything to get i right again but nothing worked. I even formatted my pc and installed the newest KLite Codec pack Divx and AC3 Filters but when I go to my xbox and Libraries it sees the movies but when I want to play it it just says buffering. Sometimes it gives me an error that says you do not have appropriate programs installed to play this file.

Any help please???

Sounds like a problem on your network, are you using a cable or wifi?

No I think its something to do with my codecs. It plays mp4 videos fine and avi just mkv I cant play and I always playd 15gb mkv files fine. I uninstalled al my codec packs and installed alot of diff ones but nothing works sometimes it will play a file but when you go to another one it will just say cant play file not correct codecs or something like that.

Any ideas??
