Just want to find out..

Intel Core2Quad Q8400
Intel G41TY Trinity Valley
A-Grade 2Gb/2048mb ddr2-800 ( pc2-6400 ) - 240pin

Will they work together? I think they will.. but you know.. just incase...

Oh another thing.. have you guys heard of kingstons ECC? Because I saw on this list.. there was something like "non-ECC" "ECC Fb-dimm" and "ECC registered" stuff like that.... I'm just wondering... does that have something to do with the compatable thingy?

Because in the pass... I got a kingston 1GB ram... and it didn't work on my computer... it wasn't faulty or anthing... it works on another computer... but when it's on mine.. a blue sceen pops up.... BUt after removing.. everything is fine again.. So just want to make sure this time...

Going to get a new upgrade.. but worried about my stupid mistakes... so.. please help out ^ ^

Thanks

In my experience Intel boards seem to prefer Kingston RAM. Have a look on Intel's website, see which RAM they advise with respect to that board?
