Does anyone know where I might source one of these things? (The old-fashioned Coax 10base2 networks) We need one to hook up to a client's stone-age hardware.

Alternatively a not-too-pricey hub with BNC & UTP ports?

Thanks!

Look for a base2/base10 transceiver (co-ax to cat5 converter). If I remember, Computer Cable Projects (Pretoria) used to have them.

BNC network switch

We needed one of those BNC connecters to connect greenhouse controller to PC, so we recently got one of them little 5port + BNC hub switches for about R300 from Fig Technoglogy (here close to Randburg), similar to link :
9 Port 10 bast T Hub with BNC connector (EH2009)

So we connect PC to switch with normal LAN cable, then thru the BNC connector.
Used to deal with a dude called Duncan, but he left last month so u can try the nu guy.

Might have one laying around. Still got some T-pieces somewhere as well. Will have a look.
