PCI Modem Driver Not Installed...This might be the problem for internet not working?

Hi,
I have BSNL Broadband connection which is not working.I could see in "Computer Management->device Manager" that "PCI Modem Driver" Not installed and it has been detected in "Other Devices" Category.Can anyone tell me this could be the reason for the broad band to be not working???

If yes How can i resolbve...If no how to solve this problem????

If its not the modem you are actually using then it shouldn't make a difference.
