PCIe Thunderbolt 2 expansion cards

So guys,

I am looking for PCIe Thunderbolt 2 expansion cards to allow me to attach thunderbolt devices to a windows machine.. I have an Asus X99-A/USB3.1 which has a thunderbolt header.. I know Asus make the ThunderboltEX II, but their website does not state support for the board that I have.. Odd..

Does anyone have any experience with these cards, or any other brand of card and know where I can get my hands on one in SA..?

I found a card that will work, trouble is it is only available with the new USB type C thunderbolt connector.. There is just no winning with thunderbolt at the moment..!!!!

If anyone knows where to find a USB type C thunderbolt to standard thunderbolt adapter, that would be fantastic..!
