who can help me out?! I would like to know if anyone out there also uses VC 3g cards installed on their desktop? WHY? recently I've had alot of disconnects with the pcmcia hardware card but when I take the card out and insert it in the laptop it works fine.

what I would like to know is could it be hardware realated? and is there any other better ones out their that incredible corruption is selling that I bought from?

TIA

I bought this one at kalahari.net a few weeks ago
http://www.kalahari.net/tec/product.asp?toolbar=none&sku=28346612&format=detail

theres not much info there I know... I emailed them for more info before I ordered it

Its a generic pcmcia pci adapter with a ricoh chipset and came in a mecer branded box... no need for driver installation uses generic drivers, works great with windows dunno about linux though

it sounds almost the same one as what iv'e got do you have the model number on your box?

lol

we'll works fine for me... might need to reconfigure or reinstall your OS to isolate the problem...

If all fails could be a faulty card or hardware conflict ?
