PCTV card ...

Hi,

I've got a Pinnacle Systems Showcenter and want to get the extra PCTV card that goes with it. The advantage of getting a Pinnacle Systems card is that the same remote on the Showcenter will operate the PCTV card.

I can simply pipe the TV antenna for SABC1/2/3/ETV and thought I could split DSTV signal from the dish as well - but realised that'd be bypassing decoder/smartcard and won't work! Would one need to take an RF out from DSTV and plug it to the PCTV card to make it work ... ? How else could you do it?

The RF route is the easiest (got it set up at home) - no stereo sound though - you could also go the RCA route from yr decoder depending on the distance from the decoder as the cost of lengthy RCA is quite costly or so I understand.
