Peacemaker (2022 Series)

All filler, no killer. The music videos were cool, but not really what I was hoping for. I wish I could have liked it more.
Wasn't as tight a finale as S01 for sure. They did get some closure on some story lines but considering there is no plan for S03 it was a kak finale.
Almost as bad as Alien:Earth's.

Season 2 was pretty boring compared to Season 1.

Let's hope Season 3 is much better and back to the action we saw in Season 1.

S2 Finale done & dusted.

It was all over the place! Not bad per say but could have been structured better. The very end sets the tone for we know what.

If I am honest this is one of the weaker epi's of S2.

Disappointed to read the feedback on the last episode. Now I don't even feel like watching it. One would think Mr. Gunn has the ability to properly close of a season as per Season 1.

I think part of my disappointment was that we were promised a longer episode, and it was stretched by including the original band playing the entire theme song among other things. Also, there are two after credits scenes, which is really just filler.

Yeah, "disappointment" is waaaaaay to strong a word & not fitting at all.

A more accurate word might be something like a downer or somewhat uninspiring etc

There is still stacks to like & it moves the story forward for the show & DCU.

There is plenty of laughs & guesswork still.

I know what direction the DCU is moving in. It is a bit obvious when you know the comic series, though this will obviously have its creative liberties. They said that James Gunn wanted to put Deadpool in this closing episode... The same Gunn who once despised such cameos.

The MCU once took this route, and it seems that James Gunn thinks he can execute it better in the DCU. This route spoiled the MCU...

Anyhow, Darkseid is now triggered.

What I don't want is some crossover, because it will end up rewriting the DCU, again

Season two wasn't great to be honest and the final episode tried too hard to wrap things up in too short of a time.

There were still a few great episodes but nowhere near season one.
