Before I donated my TV - long story - I had the Free version of it set up on my Mi-Box, and it worked well enough.
I saw an article/thread/post here about Peacock leaving South Africa because of some or the other new regulation/law.

Yes, they were never in South Africa. I had a paid sub. They were actually not too bad; I watched quite a bit of rugby.

Yes, I have peacock but they not in South Africa you will need to use a VPN or smartDNS proxy like I use.
They have some decent shows on as well as movies but I have it for the premier league football which they show most of the games. Also currently they have the Winter olympics and they also show the six nations rugby plus other sports.
They worth it in my book

Yes I set it up with a US billing address. I just used a random address generator. Put in my street address in South Africa and then just used the City and ZIP code in the US. I did it a while ago when I used it for Hulu as well.

Well I set it up quite a while ago and so I dont know if they have changed anything on the system but my South African mobile number is set up on the American paypal account. I use it for 2FA and it comes through fine on my south Africa number
Sorry, now that I double checked I see it was the free channels from Plex.
