Usually it's more backhaul congestion vs congestion on the last mile splitters etc :)

Backhaul congestion was my first guess but the part where I get full speed if I plug in directly and do PPPoE direct from PC and get full speed has me stumped. I was almost convinced that my router was playing some dirty tricks on me and was contemplating pulling the trigger on a custom pfsense setup but then saw other people complaining and began to notice its a pattern.

Yeah, my only thought is possible broadcast traffic at layer 2.

Don't want to jump for joy just yet but tonight was like having a fibre line in the home. Will report back in about a week should anything change.

A huge thank you to everyone involved in getting this escalated. It is truly appreciated. You know who you are. :notworthy: :cool:

Thanks for confirming!
@esn33 , Zoom confirmed they had a call with you this morning, and you also confirmed all went well?

After a thorough investigation, we did notice that the backhaul had packet losses, causing the VSIs (VLANs) to flap. It has since been stable from 10/04/2024, 01:00 am.

So it should be fixed now.
