Pearson Institute?

hi all,

Does anybody have any experience studying at Pearson Institute SA or know someone who has?

I'm thinking of applying to study part-time for BSc Information Technology: https://www.pearsoninstitute.ac.za/Faculties/Applied-Sciences/BSc-in-Information-Technology.html

I'm working full time, so have to study part-time. Was hoping to get some feedback on the course and the college overall.

Don’t know if Pearson Institute is the same as the old Pearson, but if it is I only had good experience with them for exams, studied Cisco myself and book exams with them.

That was 12 - 8 years back that I used them.

Personally, I wouldn’t touch it with a ten foot barge pole. The staff (see LinkedIn) all appear to be current students or recent Pearson graduates. The syllabus also leaves a lot to be desired.

If you need something part-time, rather go for Unisa.

yeah, I see it is actually a rebranded CTI. Looks like Pearson bought them
