Anybody had any luck with these crooks? Girl at works billling has gone upto R500 for 13 days after 2 months. Two people in a two bedroom flat.

Any successful action against them yet? She says HelloPeter is crammed full of their crookery.

Meh,landlord had a Private meter installed at my place,bill doubled,now finally we've switched to a municipal prepaid meter and my bill's back to normal. These guys may overcharge like mad but somebody did sign up for the robbery. Use your wallet to talk and get rid of them

is it just a matter of applying at the municipality for a prepaid meter?

There's an installation fee,nothing ridiculous,mine was about 600,paid the installer 100 bucks to remove the POS meter that was ILLEGALLY installed according to him,not allowed to re-sell the power like that with a meter at the box
