Pending Case

I have a reckless driving case that's pending in my name. Thule incident happened when I hit a concrete barrier that ended up hitting someone on their foot. After numerous times going to the police station to report the incident I was turned away because I did not have a J88 form. Eventually the "victim" went to the police on their own and a case was opened. I was visited by detectives at my home and we went back to the police station were my statement was taken and fingerprints. I was given a court date. I went to court. The docket was never sent. I was told to wait till I receive a letter that would then Inform me of when my next court date would be under the assumption that the docket would later be sent. It's been a year, and nothing. However the case still reflects as pending under my profile How can I go about getting it closed as the "complainant" never intended to actually open a case but to have accident report number/ case number for possible RAF claims.
