Pensioner Rates

How come Telkom doesn't offer a discount on adsl for pensioners? Surely they can give a lot of people something to do with their hours at home.
I know they offer a 50% pensioners discount on line rental, so why not apply the same to broadband.

My theory. The "abuse excuse". Telkom doesn't want a grandchild surfing the net at his/her grandparents house, no siree bob. They stand to lose some serious green that way.

Good Suggestion.

Seems the best Telkom can do for the people (Senior Citizens) that contributed in monthly billing for many years and indirectly in taxes etc to Government and Telkom when it was still part Post Office.
Telkom was propped up by our senior citizens.
Telkom owe their very existence to their contributions. Of course the younger generations also contributed, but at a later stage.
