My mouse died and its beyond repair i've tried, not without a part which i dont think i'll be able to find, so im shopping for a new one. I would like to get a set mouse + keyboard as my current ones are (Digitech wireless) This time im undecided as to what i should get. Its between:

Logitech MX518 Optical Gaming Mouse & Logitech ultra X premium keyboard for a total of R487.16 Separately bought. OR

Logitech Wireless Desktop MK710 (mouse and keyboard set) R529.28

My major concerns are the dpi on the mouse of the wireless set i cannot find any reference to that, does anyone know?

Otherwise i just cant deiced which is a better way foward, i mostly game and do uni assignments on my pc, so comfort is important and so is the dpi of the mouse.

Thoughts? Does anyone know the dpi?

So you reckon i should get the separate ones? that mouse is an awesome sounding mouse.

Yip. I have a MX518 lying in a drawer which has one broken microswitch that I have to fix at some stage, good mouse.

How long did it last? cause thats the same thing that happened to my digitech one, but its actually completely screwed (partly my fault for trying to fix it without the right screw driver)

It was a mates, it lasted very long and he is a heavy gamer. After I typed the previous reply I got the mouse out the drawer and replaced the left and right micro-switches and it's as good a new again!!!
