Got a SARB form here which I need some help with...
I'm a SA citizen (green coded ID etc) living abroad. This SARB form requires me to declare that I'm a permanent resident.
I gather thats a concept separate from the tax "resident". But I'm unsure whether I'm included in "permanent resident" by virtue of citizenship or not? I know the phrase usually refers to foreigners staying in SA, but not sure about this scenario...
There doesn't seem to be an equivalent form with citizen wording & the process doesn't seem to provide for an answer other than confirming that I'm a perm resident.
