Hi Ron. I think in general, things are running a lot smoother now and people appear a bit happier, in general. I think the next big problem that is affecting quite a few of us, is detailed here

In short, our connections would stay connected, but with us only being able to access the Cell C website. Then I need to log into the router, disconnect, reconnect, and then I can browse again. It would be great if someone could look into this for us.

@Mods, I know there is a separate thread for this particular issue, but I started a new one, which would hopefully catch Cell C's attention.
 
@renierp I am experiencing the same problem before the upgrade was made on 7th February 2011 everything was working superb never ever received a disconnection or lets call it CELL C WEBSITE(ZERO-RATED - WEBSITE) on a daily basis the product would work with no glitch/errors but maybe once/twice during the week, but now it's ongoing every day I get disconnected and my PC is always active on the net, always negotiating data - so practically my connection ain't idle.

I am sure this has something to do with the data bundle/free data not synch correctly and if we do have airtime loaded then it will start subtracting funds from there instead of our data bundle/free data allocation...

Remember CELL C website is ZERO RATED, that's why we are only able to surf their website only.

Somewhere their is a fault could be a hiccup *a second not sync to the data bundles that's why we have to reconnect to CELL C woooooosh network*

I got this randomly, but not too often. Like you, since the upgrade it is really persistent. Luckily I do not have any airtime on my card (it is solely for data), but it is really frustrating.
I do know (from previous threads) that it is zero rated, which does explain why it 'appears' like you have no airtime/data bundles left (from the Cell C system's perspective)

It just feels like this issue has been ignored all the time, and we should get it to their attention as it is happening more frequently, and to more users. I have also logged a complaint on their website, but it appears (from this forum) that they are not too rushed to reply to those
 
The frustrating part to this damn ordeal Is that no communication is forthcoming from them! We can all rant and rave till we damn blue in the face! All I'm asking is WTF is being done about it and if they planning on resolving the problem in this lifetime!
 
Seems the next resort is hellopeter. I have mentioned this in other threads where Cell_C rep is active, pm to ronbo and a complaint on cell c website, and no response or acknowledgment ('cept for the worthless auto reply from cell c website)
will log a complaint over the weekend. Maybe that gets some attention
