In this thread some people mentioned that they do development for fun in their spare time. So what cool/fun/interresting projects have you guys been working on?

Some of my previous projects:
* IRC/Jabber bot that integrates into a torrent trader portal
* Website / RSS feed scraper for image boards that collect images from various sites (9gag, imagechan, imgur, thechive) and mirror them localy on the WUG.
* Shoutcast server for streaming HAM Radio (okay not strictly dev work)
* Webpage for remotely changing my dstv channels from laptop/tablet/phone ...

your turn ...

Busy working on an SMS application in vb.net. When a customers cargo has been unpacked from a container and the goods scanned, an automatic sms notification is sent to the customer letting them know their goods are read for collection.

Moar info!!!

I use lirc http://www.lirc.org/html/audio.html with an old netbook (eeepc 701). I guess a Raspberry PI will also be ideal for this application. Then I have a little webpage that just calls the commands to change the channel.

As an extra bonus I also have a little script to scrape the dstv guide mobi site to display what is currently showing on each channel.

I have been creating a Server services monitor that will give twitter update on the status of the PC or Server. Just follow the PC or server and see the latest tweets done. Still work in progress and it is cheaper than smsing the whole world..

Project Euler is really difficult i must say but well worth the time :D
