Highly recommended, I got a Jamie Oliver one about 7 years ago and its used at least 3-5 times every weekLooking to get one mostly for herbs & seeds. yuppiechef has one that looks very nice but it's always out of stock. Granite, looks like nice rough surfaces on the inside & ends. Anywhere else that sells something similar?

I'm a heavy grindr.I turned mine on my wood lathe, I prefer wooden ones for cracking and light grinding.
Thanks. Lemme first look around a bit and see what comes up here. Would prefer to buy local for easy return etc.I can get you one my side of the world and courier it to you. Can check tomorrow if you'd like.
Granite?Think mine originally came from @home and does the job perfectly.
Looks verrrry similiar. Just a smaller size. If they did that in a 16/17cm it'd probably be perfect.Think mine originally came from @home and does the job perfectly.

Dunno, but it rolls of my tongue easier with the P first.Interesting to see the change in the order of the implement in the name.
Always thought it was known as a "Mortar & Pestle" - since when the change to "Pestle & Mortar"?
