Petrol Is Becoming a Second Car Payment

At some point in the future, this government will have to give up the protectionist mindset that only benefits special interest groups in order to keep the wider populace from an all out revolt. The Cost of Living is getting to revolutionary stages really soon. Especially with automation and AI disruption in the next 5 years. We dont have scale as a protective shield, so yes unfortunately the auto manufacturing sector will suffer but cheaper NEVs are a must especially given the international political climate being so unstable. South Africa needs to secure itself from outside energy disruption and EVs and industrial scale renewable energy is the best answer for us.
