So I've got a fuel leak (perished tubing) which will only go in for repairs on Monday.

Can I put 93 petrol in a plastic container or will it eat the plastic (Those white pool chlorine bucket)?

I seem to remember a story about petrol eating certain kinds of plastic.

Thanks

Yes, just make sure the container can "breath" and keep it from open flames.

DON'T PUT IT IN A GLASS CONTAINER

Ah Ok.

I assume an open glass container is fine though, no?
thx

Yea, just thought I'll put it as NO glass incase someone decides to read it and not fully understand it :p
But as long as the gasses can escape it should be fine. Just make the "breather" small so all the fuel doesn't evaporate.
