Petrol price drop

As I predicted in an earlier thread gentlemen... I was I believe out by 5 cents. I could have made a bet and won :)

This government is out to screw us for all we are worth.

The price didn't increase by R3 overnight either, it gradually increased month on month. I'm not sure, I'd be happy if we had a month on month decrease even if we didn't get one big decrease.

There was a 99c recovery on the fuel price, how can they only cut it by 69c ?

There is 30c missing here. so where did it go ?

It is better than nothing if you ask me. You know how easy it would have been to keep the prices the way they were and just pretend oil hadn'y come down at all?

maybe the garage owners hav bn cut a piece of the collective pie... how come they r not complaining this time?

I'm betting its to help the retailers. (The retailers take the R knock on the liters they have stored)

Of course, that hopefully means we're in for a similar decrease at the end of next month. Of course, you do realise they still have to round it off - don't be surprised if you get to the pump on Wednesday and its only 60c.

I doubt it. That is already the retail adjustment.

Besides, if they round it, then it would be 70c.
