Petrol Price Increase

Bloody blood suckers!! I was just about to stretch things out to May before filling...DAMN these bastards, they TOTALLY have us by the short and curlies! BASTARDS!!!

Remember its all done retrospectively - oil increased to over $55 for a large portion of last month. The Rand didn't drop until recently.

In a month's time, unless something goes seriously wrong, the petrol price will decrease.
 
I am shocked :(, the rand has gone down alot and we getting an increase? Now i do not understand this!!!!!!!!

Last increase the rand was just over 10 now it's 8.50 and they increasing it :(.

In order to "protect" the poor starving oil companies, prices are worked out on exchange rates and oil prices the month before, so in May we will be paying what oil cost in March.

What really gets me worked up is that SASOL who provides most of the inland fuel as a blend with all the other makes, bases its price on overseas oil prices...meanwhile it is VASTLY cheaper than imported fuel...speak to anyone who works at Secunda. Meanwhile they are recording record profits for their shareholders....and we all know who the majority of those people are!:mad:
 
OK, time to calm down. Just listened to the lunchtime news, and the price is COMING DOWN by about 6 c/litre...:D
