Hi all, just received a recall letter today from Peugeot Citroen SA dated on 28 January 2017. The letter states that my former (more on that later) 2009 Peugeot 207 GTI is due for a "technical Update" urgently. No specifics on what the update consists of or what it centres around. Anyways I sent that car back to the dealer I bought it from last year November due to the endless problems encountered with it (turbo blew twice, stability program faulty and other electronics) really loved that car though

Received the same letter for my 2011 Citroen C4.

Called the dealership and was informed that there are 4 campaigns out on my car. Two of the items are pumps. Have the details at work of what needs to be replaced.

I bought the car as a demo in 2011 and have about 148 000km on the clock.

I stopped servicing the car at the dealer when it reached 100 000km and the service plan ran out. I think the recalls are normally fixed during routine servicing but because I have not taken my car to them for servicing, there are now 4 issues that need to be sorted.

Car is still fine but booked in for later this month. Was told it would take 2 days to fix.

I reckon this has something to do with Peugeot-Citroen trying to realign themselves as a premium brand. They really do have good products but they just weren't up for the South African environment. Hence the dreaded "depollution system faulty" errors that dealers could only rectify by informing you that that catalytic system needs to be changed. Renault did themselves a clever favour by aligning themselves with Nissan, since then their products have been more reliable

I took our 207cc in during Feb 2017.
Took 3 days an when I went to collect the car they told me that an warning light will come on.
The triangle with computer software mullfuction message on display. Come on all the time.
At the same time they gave me an quote for more repairs to the amount of over R5000.
Unfortunately they took the recall letter. Does someone still have one. I would like a copy.
They introduced the problem with the new software download an now they want me to pay to have it fixed.. I want to go to the ombusman.
If I knew this was going to happen I would not have taken the car in.

Do you still have the letter, they took mine. I would like a copy.

Did you ever manage to get a copy of the recall letter for the 207cc? We bought one earlier this year and I would like to know what the recall was for and for which vehicles and Peugeot are not as helpful as one would like.
