PFsense box

I run a basic Pfsense set up at home with numerous PC's, tablets and devices with content filtering.

Works like a charm and just keeps running.

I have installed PFsense on an old Intel Core 2 Duo PC with single 10/100 LAN on the motherboard as well as PCI Wi-Fi card (with RAlink RT3060F chip).

1) what are the steps to configure PFsense with or without OpenVPN to bypass geoblocking on US Netfl*x and H*lu ?

and

2) how do I connect the wireless devices in the home to the PFsense server instead of the wi-fi router they are currently connected to ?

(I have all of the following routers at my disposal to be able to experiment with bridges / mesh network / double router port forwarding if needs be):

DLink 2750U (Telkom) wireless modem/router
Current Firmware Version : AF_1.69_T10
Current Firmware Date : Oct 9 2013

Aztec duoPlus 700WR-Q02 (Telkom) wireless modem/router
Current Firmware Version: 246.70.6

Tenda 3G611R+ router
Firmware Version: H2_V3.4.0b_MULTI_02
Boot Version: 2.1.0
Hardware Version: 2.0

ZyXEL NBG-417N Wireless N-Lite 150 MBPS router/access point (rebadged EnGenius / Senao ESR-9753)
Current Firmware Version: V1.00(BFM.9)C0

Manhattan model 525664 repeater/range extender/access point
Firmware Version: v196e_13_d150105-manhattan

Any help and suggestions would be appreciated in achieving the above objective

On the whole PfSense vs Mikrotik: There is a big price gap but PfSense is definitely quite far ahead with what it offers. Once you go PfSense you don't easily go back to something less.

From my experience as a networking noob, anything you can do on pfSense you can do on Mikrotik, it'll just probably be much more complicated on the Mikrotik. What's nice about the Mikrotiks though is the price. And form factor.

I've never used wifi cards with pfSense but it's generally discouraged due to compatibility. Best route is to put another NIC in there for the LAN, and connect that to a switch or wireless AP.

That being said, does pfSense pick up that wifi card?
