pfSense on fan less SMC board / 2.5GbE

Has anyone build a fan less server for pfSense with 2.5Gb ports.

What server did you use, if you can post a link to the online store.

Specs ?

Looking for something i3/i5 that can handle pfSense add on's and a high line speed.

Line speed you running through it ?

Looked at trying to build one but basically ended up working out to more than just buying one and some parts you would have to end up getting abroad anyways so just rather bought a pre-built one.

Got a very similar one to the alibaba link but it is a HUNSN brand.

My current unit is from Micro... something out of Pretoria.

haven't seen something that i like locally at the just right build/spec/price.

know i can probably get away with aN100 chip, but don't want to go for it and then discover as i rap the speed up and the add one's that i end running out of CPU speed which then induces latency.

that supermicro looks interesting... would have loved the cpu to be bit stronger though, some where between i3 and i5.

I ran a NFV instance on Debian usinf libvirtd on a Intel Celeron J4125 (4) @ 2.700GHz and i211 network controllers and achieved 500mbs.

Buying Intel white box appliances in South Africa is a pain as distis/resellers have their heads stuck up where the sun don't shine. So you need to import yourself.

I have an i5 and i225 controllers but haven't tested in on that as the lower spec was fine.
