Quickbooks should do it? It also doesnt cost an arm and a leg and should be POPI compliant given they have a specific ZA distro of it

Quickbooks won't work.
You need Pharmacy specific software that's linked to a Data Provider (local software providers will provide the data). Medicine pricies are updated daily, as different medical aid's use different pricelists. The software will also be used for billing medial aid accounts etc.
