Hi guys. I have the HTS6600 home-theater-system-in-a-box which now is useless due to the main unit taking legs and walking. Philips no longer make this unit which doesn't help either. Is there perhaps another main unit that would be compatible with them, or is there any way to use the speakers without the main unit i.e on the pc, else I'm sitting with pretty large paper weights. Thanks.

Try to get the model no. of the missing unit (check online) and place an ad in classified ads for the same. There's no pics so not sure about your cables/plugs situation.
Need to still figure out how to sort images out here. But in the meantime, the plug that controls the speakers/sub is square in shape with 10 pins. The main unit controls everything including turning the speakers/sub on. I'm told the Philips sound bars use the same plug but then that kind of defeats the point: might as well buy that then. Perhaps another main unit could take the plug?
