Ive used the 3 in 1 lenses. They look like a gimmick, but if they are attached correctly they definitely work.

A bought a wide angle lens attachment for iPhone a while back from takealot... around R150 or so. I liked being able to fit more into my shots but the overall picture quality took quite a knock... I didn't use it for long.

Darn, that sure is cheap as anything. I'll be very interested to see the pics you take Sugarman! I've never bothered experimenting with these lenses because I've been very happy with the photo performance of my S6, but I'm willing to change my mind. That microscope attachment looks interesting!

The Zeiss ExoLens attachment allows for the phone to be tripod mounted. Here are the prices on some of the Zeiss phone lenses. Sit down before opening:

Wow, those prices weren't nearly as bad as I was anticipating. If DSLR camera lenses cost from R3 000 to R20 000 for your 'run of the mill' decent lenses, then this is doable.

A few I did :

A few bugs , coffee , sugar , cellphone logo

I bought a cellphone tripod and a Bluetooth shutter release, but the shutter release doesn't work 90% of the time on my phone (Huawei P9)

The moment glass iPhone lenses are very good and they fit very nicely, not overly expensive but not cheap.

Using the phone yes. The attachment that came with the scope is very bad. Waiting for the other attachment to arrive
Ah thanks, yeah, I've almost made those same purchases more times than I can recall.
Always wanted telephoto - not really interested in the macro, though it seems macro is the better of the options.
