phone crashed

hi there
i have a se w810i today i bought a memory stick pro duo 2gig and inserted it into my phone .now my phone wont switch on anymore.i just get a white screen flashing.is the memory stick faulty or is it my phone.please help

My old W850i did the whole flashing white screen.
Turned out the ribbon cable for the screen was bust.
