Hi guys, can you please help me to decide or at least give me your experience or opinions on a prepaid phone I want to buy? For the price range I'm looking for (+-R2000.00 at most) my main criteria is at least 3g speed as I will be surfing the internet on the handset and also on pc as a modem. My candidates are: Nokia E63, Nokia 5230, HTC Snap, Sony Ericsson Xperia X8, Nokia X3-02, Nokia C5, Nokia C5-03, Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 Mini Pro and Nokia C6.

Sony Ericsson Xperia X8 is pretty good and has most of the stuff you need and works well as a phone.

I really wish our SP's would be like USA where you could get a phone and can return for a different type if you are not happy with it for up to 30 days.

I'd say get the Motorola Defy, it has 2.2 Froyo, nice 3.7" inch 480x854 display for web browsing, Adobe Flash10.3, TI OMAP CPU with PowerVR SGX530 GPU, its water and dust resistant and has HSDPA,plus wifi&usb tethering.

+1 it's better than the Wildfire and Optimus imo
