Phone Line Booster for 50 m cable

Hi

Hope someone can hep me.
My Router will have to be connected to a phone socket 50 m away. This will effect the quality of the adsl line signal to the router then to the 4 pc's connected ot that router.

A phone line booster is my only route of action here...

Where can I buy a phone line booster and will it work?

you won't need a phone line booster. Phone lines with adsl can travel as far as 6km from your telephone exchange to your house. so i don't think an extra 50m will make a difference. if it does then you have a problem with your 50m extension cable.

You can always ask Telkom to install a 2nd jack, where you want it. At a cost obviously. Extension cable as a rule not a good idea when slapping a modem at the end of it
