Phone line installed in 2 days!

Wow!

I ordered a phone line for my new flat on Thursday and they called me today and installed it!

This is wonderful service - did something happen at Telkom to shake them up or has everyone always been complaining about nothing?

I'm doing a self-install for the ADSL, so I'll keep everyone posted on how long it takes them to activate that at the exchange, but I'm feeling rather optimistic.

No, you were just lucky. I had to wait a month, and it was finally installed on Sunday.
