Phonecall from Telkom Internet

I received a phone call from Telkom Internet, saying they are conducting a survey. They asked if I have upgraded my account in the past year, and what area I life in. Has anybody else received such a call and know what it’s about?

Sounds dodgy they should have this info on their super computer:)
 
so if i feel a little... lifeless, i should just go park-out in your neighbourhood?

Sounds a bit dodgy - I'd tell them to take a hike.
 
We got a call the other day from Telkom telling us that thet've been monitoring our account and see that we spend +-R500 a month on internet bills(Parents dont wana upgrade to ADSL so me is running up phone bill)and told us the wonders of ADSL and That we'll save R50...
 
HA HA. Only for the line at 192kb/s and using them as an ISP for the first 3 gig. After that, dialup is cheaper especially with infiniticall
 
Havent Telkom killed infiticall? Another thing my parents didnt want to pay the extra R50 a month for to save R400...
 
Thats nothing, even before they installed the ADSL at my shop they phoned me and ask if i was happy with the installation, they phoned about 3 times a week for 6 months asking the same questions and my ADSL wern't even installed yet. After 6 months (when it was finally installed), they phoned about twice a week for 2 months, asking the same.

Guess what I told them :P
