Hi guys,

Not sure if this has been discussed before. Maybe my searching skills suck! :D

What software do you guys recommend? I don't want to redo the photo, but just edit it a bit and add the copyright-thingy (for what it's worth and to make me feel better:))

Ease of use, costs, etc is applicable.

Thanks.

I think a lot of people use GIMP.
GIMP (GNU Image Manipulation Program) is an image retouching and editing tool[5] and is released under the LGPLv3 and later versions as free and open-source software. There are versions tailored for most operating systems including Linux, OS X, and Microsoft Windows.

GIMP has tools used for image retouching and editing, free-form drawing, resizing, cropping, photo-montages, converting between different image formats, and more specialized tasks. Animated images such as GIF and MPEG files can be created using an animation plugin.

The developers and maintainers of GIMP strive to create a high-end free software graphics application for the editing and creation of original images, photos, icons, graphical elements of web pages, and art for user interface elements

Paint.net is also an option. It depends really, if you want to stick to rasters & pixels then GIMP would probably be your best bet.

Gimp and PhotoScape both freeware - I primarily use PhotoScape but Gimp has some very cool other features.
