Photography for small ecommerce site

Hi,

So I'm planning on opening a small ecommerce site selling items similar to "memory sticks", so basically they are rather small.
Although the site will never make serious cash I'd still like it to look proper.. I have an SLR and was considering making a light box and taking them myself? Is there another option, which won't break the bank... possibly 40 products with multiple views..

I made one of those a few years back out of foamcore. Works well but it's a mission to store so I switched to the popup tent.

Just an update, I've bought a light box, setup some fluorescent lights on either side and will use my Nikon DSLR (entry level) with a tripod to take RAW pic's. The plan is then to upload them to an editing site such as http://www.internetreadyimages.com/blog/ecommerce-image-editing/product-images-for-ecommerce/#forward it seems the going is about a dollar a photo to edit..
