Hi everyone.

I'm having a weird problem in Photoshop CS6. I just installed it and I've been getting strange "artifacts" when I use the move tool. Also, when I work with text it displays poorly. It looks rough and not anti-aliased. I'm running Windows 7 64bit and have AMD 6850 GPU. Can someone please help me with this? Thanks!!

Probably a silly question then - have you tried uninstalling completely (remove all customisations, plugins, presets, actions etc) and reinstalling? There doesn't seem to be any info regarding something like this online and it certainly isn't the behaviour I see. I'm guessing that it's not even with massive projects from the look of it.

I have uninstalled Photoshop and reinstalled it again, it doesn't change. I didn't use plug-ins so far with cs6 because of this problem. I received a reply from someone on the Adobe forum and they said to try AMD Calalyst 12.6 beta or go back to 12.2 since 12.4 still has known bugs.

Cs6 Master Collection was launched the other day on adobe's site but I would have to agree that cs5 is more stable

Have you tried checking the system tray for the Adobe Updater? Ive heard that the app sometimes does not download or install updates automatically by default. Hopefully there is a display bug that is fixed in one of the updates. Other than that i would say GPU issues (but you said its up to date) or even a struggling system that cant keep up (CPU, RAM, etc). Grasping at straws i know, but worth a look at if it becomes too much to handle.
